Those who don’t feel this Love
pulling them like a river
those who don’t drink dawn
like a cup of spring water
or take sunset like supper
those who don’t want to change
let them sleep…

Jemma’s animals are always spectacular but this just blew my mind!! wow.
For real. Jemma has an incredible grasp of shapes and colors that stuns me every time. If you like good art, do yourself a favor and follow her.

the moon sings orange
half full, resting
cradled in the soft of the sky.it’s cold here tonight,
frozen breath crystallized, fallen
to dust great sweeps across the ground.
my feet lay tracks in exhaled promises
and if i retrace my steps
i can walk in your footprints.i know you are not with me.
i know you’ve forgotten
the chill that seeps into my bones,
your own skin cracking in some distant heat.still,
looking out under
the lost light of a tired crater
i am reminded that it shines on you, too.
you can look up and feel its protection as i can.perhaps the air is as still where you are
as where i am,
quiet enough that a heartbeat can drown
the noise of cities and separation.

get out, get out
i claw at the flesh of my temple
get out, i say
to the ruined and loving
there is no room in me for you
any more
